Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Tajir collects and how we use it, in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). We collect the minimum needed to run the marketplace.
What we collect
Account basics from your Google sign-in (name, email), any phone, city and language you provide, your business details if you sell, and records of your activity such as enquiries you send and suppliers whose contact you reveal.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace: to show you relevant suppliers, to pass your enquiry and contact details to a supplier when you choose to contact them, to power your dashboard, and to keep the service secure and reliable.
Supplier visibility (opt-in)
Passive browsing is private. Suppliers only see you as a visitor if you switch on the optional "let suppliers see my business" setting — off by default, business-level only, and revocable at any time in your account settings.
Retention
Identity-linked view records are kept only for a limited window (about 90 days) and then reduced to anonymous aggregates. Leads you actively created (enquiries, reveals) are kept as part of the supplier's records.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, withdraw the visibility consent, and delete your account. You can do this from your account settings or by contacting us.
Contact us
For any privacy request or question about this policy, reach us through the contact details in the site footer. We aim to respond promptly.
